CNC plasma cutting and gas cutter

CNC plasma cutting and gas cutter
A plasma cutter with a power of 105A is a powerful tool for precise and efficient metal cutting. Plasma for cutting is generated by heating gas in an electric field, causing the gas to ionize and turn into plasma. This plasma, which reaches a temperature of around 22,000 °C, enables the cutting of thick metals with high precision. For efficient plasma cutting, the metal must be electrically conductive to transfer the required energy and generate the necessary high temperature for material melting. Plasma cutting is used for fast, precise, and efficient cutting of various metals, including steel, aluminum, brass, and other alloys.

Gas cutting is also a highly efficient process that involves the combustion of metal in a stream of oxygen, while simultaneously removing the resulting slag from the cutting area. In this process, a fuel gas (typically acetylene, propane/butane, or natural gas) burns in the presence of oxygen, and the metal is heated to its ignition temperature, enabling combustion. This process is also thermal, as the cutting temperature is achieved through the combustion of the fuel gas. Gas cutting is very precise and offers high cutting quality with lower energy costs compared to plasma cutting.
