Electrostatic plasticization

Electrostatic plasticization (metal plasticization, powder coating) is a modern and highly efficient method of protecting and enhancing metal surfaces. This technologically advanced process involves applying a powder polymer layer onto a thoroughly cleaned and prepared metal surface using electrostatic charging, which ensures that the powder particles evenly distribute and firmly adhere to the metal.
After the application phase, the component is transferred to a specialized oven where, under the influence of high temperature (typically between 160°C and 200°C), the powder undergoes polymerization. During this process, the powder melts into a uniform, solid, and elastic coating that provides flawless surface protection – without drips, stains, or irregularities, which are often found in traditional painting methods.
